More from the shoot earlier in May there was an “Engagement Shootout” in Malibu. I participated as one of the photographers to assist in a bigger picture of raising awareness to a local charity in Santa Clarita called Let Me Sail.
We had an amazing cake decorating contest from wedding industry types to regular folks. We intermixed everybody on different teams and had fun making a mess (I mean fabulous cakes).
This series is more like a fairy tale… it is magical, soft and romantic. It is the poetry a twinkle light would write. This is a visual display of the idealistic, unrealistic, visionary, dreamy, Utopian, whimsical, starry-eyed love. The shoot was also on the 3 month wedding anniversary. I love my brides. Probably every photographer says that, but really I love my freaking brides. They are kick ass, fun, spunky, sexy and awesome.
