Nervously he stood in the hallway, waiting to come into the perfumed hotel room to see his bride. He shifted his weight from left foot to right, then leaned against the wall, and finalized on putting his hands in his pockets. Today was the big day, and a moment for the rest of their life.
Handling the finish touches, she fluffed her hair, checked her lip gloss in her reflection in the window, and pressed her hands together on the patio over looking the Pasadena city sky line. The sky was the brightest blue without a single cloud. Today was a big day, five years in the making.
This section of photos is exactly why couples should see each other before hand. The moment, emotion and intimacy is all there. He gets to see her, hold her and kiss her.
Then we went across the street to the Pasadena City Hall. It is so lovely there, and the air was so crisp.
During the processional, I perched on the second floor over looking the ceremony. It was absolutely the best seat in the house.
Their parents also renewed their vows on the wedding day. It was so very special and I believe I wasn’t the only one that had tears in my eyes. Absolutely what the beauty of love and marriage is all about.
I love it when he says “You may now kiss the Bride.” Evidently I am not the only one :)
Amazing Wedding in Pasadena with the incredible Andy Kitchen. His brides are always fantastic.
The flowers were created by my newest favorite local florist, La Crescenta Valley Flower Mart.
They got married at City Hall in Pasadena, and then whoop it up at the neighboring hotel Westin.
Bridal hair and makeup was done by her high school friend, and she also was the make up artist for her prom photos. Yay.
