Sometimes ideas are just ideas… until you meet April Lainez de Brimer, the marketing genius and extraordinaire. Then this same idea become a Sunday at the best wine bar in Santa Clarita, hosting an event.
Armed with ideas, a bottle of Cava and Tanya at Wine 661, we invented the concept of a specialised and personal bridal boutique. This had to be completed with tulle, beautiful decor and a whole lot of planning. With the talents of April and Tanya, we moved forward with the idea of a VIP event for Santa Clarita locals. We wanted to bring together all the best Santa Clarita and the wedding industry together. We were talking quality not quantity. All invited were special entities of their speciality… not always the most published, or advertised, but truly just the best because of their work/passion and love for weddings.
So here is a recap of the event:
The ‘Best of the Best’ of Santa Clarita’s wedding professionals gathered on Sunday at one of SCV’s hidden treasures, Wine 661.
Dresses and a model were provided by Cruz’s Bridal and Tux in Santa Clarita. One of the favorite wedding venue spots of Santa Clarita, The Hyatt
Hosted by the bar’s owner, Tanya, and accompanied by hand-selected wedding pros, brides were welcomed into an intimate space.
Setting up was an adventure, but the transformation from a chic wine bar, to a wedding pro heaven was quite amazing.
Tanya, Wine 661‘s owner, has personally selected her favorite wedding photographer, Cakes and Kisses Wedding Photography, top Santa Clarita Valley wedding venue, The Hyatt Valencia, favorite gown boutique, Cruz’s Bridal, Firefly Events, bachelor and bachelorette party specialists, An Event to Remember, an incredibly down to earth wedding planner, super-sweet cake designer, Cake Goodness, amazing florist, Enchanted Garden, amongst others, to entertain brides and their guests.
Notes by Vicki, were beautiful hand crafted and elegantly designed.
Goodie bags were handed to all the brides to be, along with a raffle ticket and opportunites to win fabulous prizes. Antelope Valley White Dove Releases also had a table showing off the beautiful work they do for brides and grooms.

All Santa Clarita soon-to-be brides were greeted with open arms and warm welcomes! There were also bride’s best friend, mother of the brides, best friend and husband-to-be in attendance too!
