Noah’s Ark theme for little baby boy Noah. All desserts were made by legendary Leslie Maynor of Fantasy Frostings for her daughters baby shower.

Homemade beverages with adorable striped straws to adorn glasses of mimosas or sweet lemonade.  The dessert table decorated with a perfectly shaped Noah’s Ark with friendly animals, all editable. The lemon cupcakes, and red velvet cupcakes were surrounded by crying baby cookies and a fabric Noah’s Ark backdrop.

The blue and green theme captured the muted tones of the table linens, sweeping fabrics and decorative bows, surrounding the outdoor patio at a private residence.

Cheese, crackers and various meats were set out as appetizers and nibble food. Homemade deviled eggs, stuffed celery and spinach dip in a bread bowl were also part of the pre-lunch menu. A table of salsa and chips, sided with a taco bar of seasoned meats, and toppings made for the perfect Sunday afternoon lunch.

All table settings were made by the mother of the “mom to be” with fabric flowers in clever baby boxes to later be used in the nursery for storage.

I love how everyone has there own personality in this one… And the texture of the bricks is so perfect.

Everyone took their shoes off for this grass shot, and of course the grass is just too long to tell… So I think that the expressions are far more interesting than tall grass.

Yes!! I found an amazing little patch of “fuzzy sunshine” flowers. We rooted around and found a great spot to take photos. This is my new favorite spot. I think I might take all my portraits here…

I think that I was so happy that he was dressed all faded jeans and checkered retro top. It matched perfectly.

But it just goes to show that they were always thinking about being more than just themselves and what was happening in High School etc. They thought about the future and to having a family and children to love, while I was thinking of puppies and kittens…

We did the shoot in her home, Castaic. It was a cloudy day, and I think that was perfect for the overall light of the day.

It was soft and lovely for Lisa to get into full maternity photos mode. Granted Tori Spelling took maternity to a whole level of fashion, but I think that Lisa handled herself with a lot of grace and beauty.

As a wedding photographer nothing makes me happier than to see or hear from brides. Any news… be it that they are moving to a different state, they got accepted into Law School (Yay Paul), or that they had a baby!

I shot in 2006 Tanya and Ben’s wedding in Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods. It was so beautiful and lovely. In 2008 they had a little baby named Zach. He has his moms’ nose and his dads’ sense of outdoors. They invited me back to Colorado to be a part of his first birthday party and take some photos. I couldn’t be more honored.
