Sneak Peek: W, Chicago, IL
On a swoon scale of 1-10 this had me at a strong 9.5, really.
I loved the brides’ dress, a high collared, sleeveless with a string of buttons down the back. Her veil was her “something borrowed” and her smile was luminous.

Personal: Sweet Home Chicago
I am not from Chicago, but I love it there. It is the perfect spot for pizza, baseball and blues music. Yay!
I’ll be in Chicago, more specifically on the Gold Coast, between August 20th and September 6th for four weddings. I have a couple things planned, but I’d love to set up some more shoots while I’m there and am offering a special rate. Real Wedding: Pasadena City Hall, CA
Nervously he stood in the hallway, waiting to come into the perfumed hotel room to see his bride. He shifted his weight from left foot to right, then leaned against the wall, and finalized on putting his hands in his pockets. Today was the big day, and a moment for the rest of their life.
Handling the finish touches, she fluffed her hair, checked her lip gloss in her reflection in the window, and pressed her hands together on the patio over looking the Pasadena city sky line. The sky was the brightest blue without a single cloud. Today was a big day, five years in the making.

Here are a few I couldn’t resist sharing the stories of how they came about…
I have so many favorites from this wedding. This one strikes me as the most making out at a wedding EVER! We just finished some bridal photos, and I turned around to give some instructions on my assistant. They I look back and the couple is missing. Well, the Pasadena City Hall, isn’t a huge place to get lost in, so I peeked around the pillar and saw them… I do think that having a private moment is important for your wedding day, but I loved loved loved the light and all the beauty that is in this shot.
