On a swoon scale of 1-10 this had me at a strong 9.5, really.
I loved the brides’ dress, a high collared, sleeveless with a string of buttons down the back. Her veil was her “something borrowed” and her smile was luminous.
Just a sneak peek, more to come next week.
Lovely sneak peek from Eaglewood Golf Course…
The lovely ladies doing the best “Sex and the City” walk.
I am not from Chicago, but I love it there. It is the perfect spot for pizza, baseball and blues music. Yay!
I’ll be in Chicago, more specifically on the Gold Coast, between August 20th and September 6th for four weddings. I have a couple things planned, but I’d love to set up some more shoots while I’m there and am offering a special rate. So, if you are thinking about an engagement, portraits or bridal/trash the dress session please drop me a line at holly@cakesandkisses.com with the subject “Chicago”.

The Vision: The Beloved movement is the belief that as photographers, we have the ability to touch the world, one relationship at a time. Instead of reflecting the surface, we become an invitation to those we work with to experience the richness within them. Beloved is a remembrance of what is the most important, a celebration of love.
